If you could pick only five international films (preferably available on DVD) that you consider the best that film can offer, what would they be?The films would be for a junior/senior level independent study for alternative high school students taught by a friend of mine. Midwest U.S. location. The local Media Play carries a nice selection of (esp.) Criterion collection and foreign films, so the selection is very good.
