This is awful; it's surely a sign of the end-days. Wait a minute... I don't believe in the "end-days!" Whew, that's a relief! :o)Yep, Hellboy was GREAT; a future DVD in my already sizeable collection! It's over-the-top and very tongue'n cheek, but never rises to the level of campiness. Hellboy's humor is more internal, it's absurd characters given depth rather than relying on silliness to carry the story. If I had to compare the style of Hellboy to any prior film, in approach it reminds me a bit of the first MiB movie.
I'd give it 4 1/2 out of 5 stars!
