In my opinion only complete lack of understanding and respect for other culture can create movies like this one. What bothers me the most is that young generation is not reading books anymore. They are learning history by movies, crappy movies like this one. SO what would young people know about Samurai? That they were these poor nice kind people who lived in small villages and were mass-killed by ruthless Emperor?
