But he wants them to go back to the originals - more character driven less effects - in other words remotely credible alla "On Her Majesty's Secret Service or From Russia With Love. But money talks and They tried this with Daulton in Licence to Kill. And while I thought it worked - I wonder if the studio execs got enough cash.I'd like to see him in this role because he's ~40 a good actor and while the Avengers was a total disaster - there is potential to have his trademark intensity with enough light touch for it to work and he has the intelligence which permeates through his work and in life. He's actually a judge on a panel deciding on the best literature novel of the year.
Frankly, I was happy with Brosnon even if the last film was off.
