Either way, don't fool yourself - none of the studios ever has the fan's concerns in mind - all they care about is m-o-n-e-y.

Duh - it doesn't stop them, but it does result in a severe loss of quality as you dupe down from disc to tape. Digital cloning results in no loss of quality. That's what Lucas is concerned about.
