Re: "Fluffy Bunnies in the Village of the Happy Idiots"

I've been exploring whatever foreign films happen into my local library, or perhaps a forgotten classic or two. I rarely go to the cinema anymore, mainly because I have two small kids---most of the viewing is on DVD/video...

Let's see... The past couple of months I've watched
"La Strada"
"The Third Man"
"Battleship Potemkin"
"Bicycle Thief"
"A Day At The Races"

And the only recent films:
"Once Upon A Time In Mexico", which I hated.
"Gangs Of New York", which was OK.
"Whale Rider" was pretty good.

The last one I saw at the theater was "I, Robot" and it was awful. It was a highly sterile version of "Blade Runner" with no soul.
