These are listed on the Criterion web-site as oop. Does it make sense to buy them why they're stil floating around eBay to avoid paying a lot later? I'm not interested in Robocop, but some of these I would like to own. Have the Spellbound already, seen a couple of others from the list. Also, what makes their later releases go out of print and earlier ones stay in circulation for years? The Bank Dick
Blood for Dracula
Dead Ringers
Flesh for Frankenstein
Hard Boiled
How to Get Ahead in Advertising
The Killer
Notorious
Playtime
Rebecca
RoboCop
Salт
Sid & Nancy
Silence of the Lambs
Spellbound
Straw Dogs
This is Spinal Tap [definitely want this one]
The Unbearable Lightness of BeingPS - Criterion is not all good, imo. Films like The Rock or the above-mentioned Robocop are questionable enough for me not to jump on every Criterion release sight unseen so to speak. I wonder what the producers have in mind when they include films like Armageddon in their dvd release roster.
PPS - Surprisingly, there are 10x more Swedish releases in their portfolio than Russian ones. A definite over-sght.
