You are right...it is those little touches that make it so memorable. The telephone operator repeating "just a moment" in the same sing-song cadence endlessly, the never-ending struggle with the fax machine, the stupid corporate jargon and minutiae ("did you understand....the memo...about the fax cover sheets for the TPS reports?").I love the birthday party scene...poor Milton, no cake again.
