...if De Niro had been cast in the role of Michael. I think it would have made for two even better movies. My favorite parts of both movies are the De Niro as young Vito scenes. Don't get me wrong, I think Pacino is a good actor, just not in the same league as De Niro overall and especially at these points in their respective careers.
