Tin,Slapshot wasn't his best film but those of us who live and die the frozen game loved him in this movie. He was a mixture of so many real hockey people that it was hard not to be impressed.
I think Exodus was a great movie that he was very average in. Certainly not a great Newman role.
Absence of Malice was also a really good Newman film.
