What do you think? Recommended? Some of Altmans' stuff I really like (Gosford Park, Nashville, The Player) but I've seen a couple duds. (Made the mistake of watching Kansas City a couple week ago - yawn.) Anyway, I'm curious about Short Cuts as its based upon (I think) short stories of Raymond Carver. The local independent record store has a copy of the Short Cuts Criterion DVD set. Is it worth picking up?
