I've never had a strong impression of Tom Cruise one way or the other, but I take objection to his (or any other celebrity's) presumption of knowledge about psychiatry and medical science, for that matter. I hate it when celebrity's feel they have become an authority on something just because they've done a little reading. I doubt if Cruise has ever picked up a scientific journal in his life, let alone read one! Sorry, that's my rant.
