I was actually very pleased with the "Travolta come back" due his role in "Pulp Fiction". A lot of people dissed that film as just being too violent, but I find it "creepy cool" and very entertaining. It pretty much defined S.L. Jackson and almost type cast Travolta as well.
I can never see a film with Jim Carey or Robin Williams without them getting in the way of the characters. I respect the talents of both and they are certainly funny, but their personalities are too strong to vanish for two solid hours. Williams almost pulled-off a good one with "One Hour Photo", but it was still a little difficult at times and he just flopped in "The Cutter". Carey's trademark expressions seem to appear in every film and no matter how well he does up to that point, he loses me when his shtik surfaces.
