"The Man in the Moon" was filmed in Natchitoches, Louisiana, where I am attending Northwestern State University. When the kids go into town, you are actually seeing downtown Second Street, with Lasyone's, home of the Natchitoches Meat Pie (accept no substitutes from Coushatta!) (no affiliation, etc.).A good performance by Ms. Witherspoon, and a wonderful "small" film.
