with the waves splashing, the timber and ropes creaking you can almost feel the Surprises deck under your feet ( ! )
I enjoyed the film more on a second viewing, tho' I don't think any Napoleonic era sea captain would have been anywhere near as easy going as Crowes portrayalGrins
