I like Mamet's use of Ricky Jay in House of Games and The Spanish Prisoner. Steve Martin was also well-cast in the latter. My favorite, too, is Homicide. Have you seen Mantegna and Sam Rockwell in Jerry and Tom? The screenplay was by Rick Cleveland, also a playwright.
