hi,
when i get riled up like that, i tell myself, 'patience, little one'.
Sometimes i say it a lot. The rate of release on DVD looks like an exponential equation (penny doubled every day becomes a million bucks in less than a month- that sort of thing). Soon there will be zillions of DVD titles.
When you get a chance net search DSS dishes, a couple hundred will score a good one. And when you get a chance, get that S-VHS, i really like mine. I have most of Babylon 5 on Super VHS ( prob too low brow for you, but i like it). But it took me a looong time to get this stuff together.
And... i am still in pro logic, my phono cartridge just died, my dvd is absolutely dreadful at music, i need to replace a bunch of the wire in the system, my sattelite provider is closing shop so i have to buy a DSS system soon, and, well, that will do for starters... (patience)
