Kinski being surrounded by indians that were ready to kill him on Herzog's request - or rather it was Herzog that told them not to kill Kinski. I do not remember where I saw this, it may have been during the filming of Fitzcarraldo and shown on The Burdon of Dreams movie/documentary (the making of Fitzcarraldo). The indians hated him.

Any stories about Kinski during the making of Aguirre have the potential to be true based on any memories I have of the Kinski/Herzog pairing in any situation...
