This quietly but intensely paced film from Karen Moncrieff drew me in after a very low key start, especially considering what happens in those opening scenes.
I don't think I can drop in any spoiler without ruining the effect of the film as the twists and turns are essential to the story, but this is one of the best of the films that follow a number of seemingly isolated stories that start to entwine towards the end.
Every scene, every character is well done, but there are some grisly moments in case anyone has a delicate sensibility.
An ensemble performance of great strength.
Very recommended.
