My point is that Antonioni, Kubrick, Welles and countless others never could have had their seminal works easily and satisfyingly transferred almost of a whole to the stage but the works of Bergman largely (not the qualifier) could.
I might add that Bergman's women singularly are the most unattractive group I've ever seen with the exception of a gathering of women track team members once I witnessed--- but I digress.
I'm sure, clever lad you are, that you realize excellent cinematography, which usually is the case with Ingmar, has nothing to do with my point.
Lastly, some fellows such as yourself feel that one must post in a graduate student or other such patois to be taken seriously by... those such as yourself.
