They are both stellar actors, in different projects, for different mediums, with different directors and screenplays.
So it's more than just a matter of interpretation.
At this point, I'd have to say they are equally formidable peformances (remember, Blanchette did Liz once already for this same direcrtor). It may just come done to which project I prefer.
