Great movie, most dog lovers I know who've seen it thinks it's great too.
Thats a tragic society the film portrays, if you didn't get a heavy feeling in the gut after seeing it, there'd be something wrong with you.
BTW, when I lived in California I used to go on rides down Baja, Mexico, on my bike, and carcasses of dogs would be on the road sides, just laying there, no one bothering to take em away to bury them or anything. Kinda just their view on dogs value I guess.
Then again the way they sell dogs in the States is rather disgusting too, stored and sold like any toy. Usually to folks who just have a dog so they can say to people they have a dog, kinda status I guess, but not much better than in Mexico I think.
