Picked this up for 2 bucks as a laser disc; a stellar Cast works with a bare-bones script + make a very special film
The Director, Mamet, must have had lion-taming skills to haul in all the egos in this project+ make it work! All credit to him; it does
I typically can't *stand* Al Pacino, I am luke warm about any of the Baldwin boys and Kevin Spacey can be hit-and-miss; but everyone pulls their weight in this film ( I'd go out on a limb and say these actors give the performance of their lives; amazingly, no-one seems to upstage anyone else )
A Classic; I'd forgotten just how good this is!
