I don´t follow you!
What is it in the nature of the cinderella syndrom, because there is nor explicit sex ( he-he ) to have over long badly cut scene?
Particularly the scenes around the tennis play ground.
I would have imagine a younger Gary Cooper fitting better in, remember the Cooper in Lubitsch
" Design for Living " but not the one in " Love in the afternoon " no soft lense could have possibly save him.
Maybe also that, NO male could shine near the original " Bambi ", our beloved Audrey...
I just saw " Stalag 17 " a few days ago Holden was an excellent actor and a good man that shine through, too bad he had to end like he did.
Well.
Yes the scene is outstanding, not without social critic and much irony.
We won´t loose a word about the remake...
Movies are not anymore what they used to be.
A great public art is ending.
Or is it me?
Bonne Soirée, au mec le plus agreable sur le Film Forum!
