...watched this on DVD after missing it in the theaters.

It's an interesting story about Chess records, Muddy Waters and the early blues recordings.

While the vintage of some of the autos and a few of the facts portayed may not fit exactly with the real life events, there is some terrific music and musical history here, nonetheless.

Beyonce is outstanding as Etta James.

Highly recommended.
