Pixar goes way down with this one. A septuagenarian Indiana Jones a film cannot carry. A great beginning and a forgettable climax connected by an unending middle. Zikes! Even the kids were getting restless after 30 minutes.
The first ten minutes, however, are of lasting worth. Had it sustained that, and few films of any sort can or do, it would have been a classic.
I'd wait for the DVD and can it after that first short piece.
The much-touted 3-D? Like fireworks, it just got old after the first whizbang tricks, too.
