The audience my wife and I saw this with applauded at the conclusion; kids in the audience were very quiet and attentive throughout and enraptured rather than bored, and a lot of adults were emotionally touched by the depth and daring of the story. I'm really sorry that you didn't like it, but you seem to be the exception rather than the rule. In my estimation, PIXAR has hit another one out of the park. This is an absolutely marvelous film from start to finish (loved the visual "dog-fight" pun! --- sorry about that little spoiler, but as sight gags go it's pretty subtle, and some adults may not even catch it).Hey, if you saw this in a small town maybe you were watching a worn out print or the reels got mixed up! Did you get gum on your shoes, sit in popcorn grease or see it when you were in a really bad mood? There are extraneous things that can ruin a film experience.
Two thumbs way "UP" ...! On a 5 star scale, it's a solid 4 1/2; highly recommended for teens and adults.
