This minor masterpiece of a film was on the other night and I found myself watching at after a few years and not just marveling at Gene Hackman's performance (it's extraordinary in its own right) but at the music. There are some truly sublime moments of great music in this movie. Listen specifically to the score during the party in the warehouse scene.
