Written by Joss Whedan and has a lot of his cleverness and the killing off of what you would consider to be the leads by their looks. It looks like certain ideas were messed with however. The direction by Jeunet was not bad. I wasn't sure I liked the Ryder part and the mad scientists seemed unreasonable stupid. It certainly had some humor missing with this series and I thought could have set up an interesting sequel. I agree with your rating.
