and NOT from the fact that they're (by most definitions) terrible!
Having just typed that, I find my favorite
"Halloween" movies are probably Before Christmas" and
"Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein".
Neither terror filled, but some fun thrills.
Alien is still an effective "Haunted House"
film, but not...Halloweeny... "Psycho" works,
not Halloweeny though...
