AllMovie (dot) com has been changed into something way more commercial

I just wanted to look up 'The Thing' to see if James Arness really did play the monster(he did)
But the sad thing is the site has been ?bought? by some more commercial outfit.
I really hope that does not happen to AllMusic (dot) com.
