invest in a performance car. But, to live in an urban area and once in a blue moon get to blow it out? Crazy. It just makes you drive dangerously where you shouldn't, is my experience (10 years with an MR-2). I had the tickets and ridiculously expensive insurance to prove it, Vic. Prius, btw, has some "go." It isn't the slug you might think. I actually abuse it: it's a hatchback and when the back seats are folded down and a plastic mat installed, it mimics a pickup pretty well. I've been redoing a 1/2 to 2/3rds acre garden this year and it's hauled tons of stuff. It's a bullet-proof little machine.
