That smith makes guns for champions, he knows his stuff. All the springs are pretty standard, BTW. I think his trick - and it IS some trick - is in the sear, as nobody knows how he consistently gets reliable triggers in the 1 - 1.5 lb range. On that particular gun the trigger eventually went to 15 oz, at which point it started having some issues, but up to that point it was rock solid, I put over 30,000 rounds through it without any issues - and I bought it used. His other gun, the one I am presently using, has slightly heavier trigger, by maybe 6oz, and it is incredibly fast.
