Not quite. Did you note the graphic "Four Months Later?" And did you note that she gave her ticket to space to the husband? Since the other her was dressed well, we can assume she didn't kill the family on the other Earth. Did you note that the two Earths were locked together, absolutely identical in every manner UNTIL they were visible to each other? So, the man was able to see his family, still alive in the other Earth. A bit awkward, but he's going to be thrilled. I think the ending answered everything.

We'll have to agree to disagree about global warming until the next global cooling scare comes along
