This is a work of FICTION with a factual VENEER. If the producers stuck STRICTLY to JUST the facts, they wouldn't sell enough tickets to cover the post production bar tab.
I just saw previews of a movie about Alan Turing. Even in the previews, history was dealt a low blow in the interest of drama, plot development or simplification. The 'hero' of this picture may or may not even be mentioned except in passing. The POLES invented the 'bombe' used by Bletchly Park code breakers, not the brits.
