The rest were locals who had never acted before. The guy who played Jamie was spotted by the director at MacDonald's, would you believe.
The whole movie was made for only $600k. There were some problems with the narrative (lots of people killing lots of other people for different reasons over a long period), but overall it is a bloody good movie. I like the fact that it doesn't moralise or try to bring in any outside analysis (no media or police). Hollywood cannot make movies like this.
