Most of the fun in these movies is the arty cartoon environment.
3D. Good 3D effects in this movie.
Also, this time the film does not display criminal perversions as did the original. No children getting hurt this time. What a relief.
Eva Green. This past year I don't think there's any part of her audiences have not seen.
What was it:
300 - Rise of an Empire. As Artemisia, Green seduces the Greek commander, Themistocles. An athletic sex seen. Good acting, I thought.
...and good female form.
Penny Dreadful: Showtime TV series. As Vanessa Ives, Green exhibits a highly disturbed monster within while displaying her magnificent form to the audience. Very good acting, I thought.
Now Sin City, A Dame to Kill For. Another fine acting job. She really does sultry well. And what magnificent female form. Green looks so much better when uncovered. ;-)
What better fun. Slumming, crooked high stakes poker, vicious scheming that leads to killing, hot sex scenes, one averted killing, then more killing, and revenge killing.
I thought the 62 'Vette looked fantastic in that art noir environment. And so did the ultra rare Tucker. The '55 Chevy cop cars must have been cgi. I thought the 'Vette looked real.
Did I mention that the 3D was good in this film?. Oh yeah, I think I did.
