From what I've seen of Westworld. . .

. . . I think the OP's observations are pretty close to the truth. I agree with him that our entertainment industry keeps presenting these forced stereotypes to viewers - they're politically-correct cliche stereotypes which require a suspension of disbelief to annoying degree. That's not going to make me stop watching, but it is wince-inducing, and, as I roll my eyes, I'm thinking to myself, "There they go again!". ;-)
