I was referring to the HBO series, haven't seen to movie in a very long time. And yes, I'm agreeing that the themes are all there, but they are there because those themes ARE the story, not merely tacted on to cater to political correctness. Perhaps put another way, if you remove all the themes the OP considers political correctness then there is no there there. ;>)
