Truth be told, both of these are jokes.
There are some interesting articles on making fake military equipment for such films, including tanks - as hardly any are left. Experts usually can tell in a second what was taken for the base - an APC or a tractor - they all have their unique structures.
A more real tank movie would be the Israeli film Lebanon.
