Historically, the Byzantine world was a slave camp masquerading as the Eastern Roman Empire, until it fell to the Ottoman Turks, which was a slave camp masquerading as an empire... and now as a nation state.
The slave market was centered in Caffa, Crimea. When Byzantium fell, the Eastern Roman Empire shifted to Russia, which is a slave camp. The Russian Revolution was nothing but a change of masters from Autocrat to Commissar. Russians will never be free. What a pathetic excuse for a civilization :(
