This was almost like a dud Steven King production. A lot of thrashing around then a nothing ending. I haven't seen the rotten tamaters rating but this think was nearly a turkey. Winstead did an excellent job and Goodman was pretty good but the script and plot just didn't deliver for me.
SPOILER:
When Winstead finally got free the invaders didn't even resemble the original Cloverfield critters. Looks like they took the cheap way out.
