Yep, had this on Laser disk and recently bought the DVD.
I think this made Billy Bob's career, and it's certainly one of Paxton's very best.The script is so real life, like a peek into a actual people's lives.
And finally, yes it was menacing, all the way through. I wonder what ever happened to the girl? Cassandra Wilson I think. Never saw her again after this.
