Final 0.2 HT Electrostat system

199.89.64.45

Has anyone here had a chance to listen to any of Final's electrostat systems? Specifically the 0.2 setup? I would greatly appreciate any observations concerning this system.

I am interested in this system for HT only. I am seriously considering splitting my systems up. I have a music system that I am absolutely pleased with so this system wouldn't have to be really musical, but it would need to be dynamic for movies.

Here is why I am really interested. I live in an apartment in NYC. Both of the systems will be in the same room but on different walls. I would prefer for my HT system to take up minimal space. I already have a Pan 42" plasma so I thought the on wall Final system would be really cool and I think electrostats would sound pretty good for movies.

I am concerned that the onwall placement of electrostats will result in poor imaging and sound. This doesn't have to be audiophile reference as I am focusing on that with my stereo system, but I would still like to get decent imaging. Second, to keep costs relatively reasonable I was thinking of running this system on a receiver such as the Denon 3802. Being that the final's are 4ohm and 86db sensitivity, I am wondering if the Denon could handle them. I will not be watching movies/tv at ear bleeding levels that many videophiles strife for, this is more for everyday moderate volumes.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Josh
