If it's not progressive and you're not interested in doing some DIY (get some nice Belden 75 ohm coax cable and terminaite it yourself for probably under $30) then you could probably go with S-video and be very happy. While component video cables will give you a better picture than the others, you won't really see until you can run progressive.

AudioQuest comes in several flavors that might fit your budget. But generally, cables do make a difference. YMMV; it has for me.
