Receivers all seem to have tuners. That's why they're receivers. This was mostly true long before the days of HT.What advanced sound qualities are you referring to? I don't associate HT receivers with good sound quality, although some are better than others. If you mean DSP modes, they are also available on pre/pros. I don't know why anyone would want them, but they're available.
I already have a high end tuner, like the flexibilty and sound quality of separates much better, so it's processer/mulit-chanel amp for me fersher.
