For my new downstairs family room (the little Clairemont house had only one "listening room," the UC house has two areas), I put this little budget system together:-NAD C350 integrated
-California Audio Labs Icon Mk II CD player (already owned)
-KEF Q3 floorstanders
-Silver Audio Silver Bullet 4.0 ICs (already owned)
-Speakers are biwired with 99.999% pure silver wire for the highs and IXOS 6003 13-guage stranded OFC for the lowsSounds very nice except that the room is very reflective -- Pergo-like laminate on the floors and a 10' sliding glass door on one side.
