This coming weekend, I'll have an opputurnity to take this player home from a local audio/video store in Dallas area and try it on my new Sony HDTV/KP-65WV600. After I've been reading or hearing about the chroma bug (RED) on this player, I am having a second thought that I'm not even sure it's worth the hassle. My current player is a Pinoneer Elite DV-09 in which I'd hope to have the 3800 to replace. Another question, Is my Sony good enough to 'deinterlace' the pictures coming out from the DV-09? My eyes don't think so for now. Any inputs or suggestions would be welcome
