I have the RP-91 in my home theater and use its analog outs via DH Labs interconnects for two-channel music. Surprisingly comparable to my California Audio Labs Icon Mk II CD player, a highly regarded unit that retailed new for $1K. The RP-91 is ever so slightly softer and less detailed (especially in the treble) but offers a very smooth and relaxed sound in two-channel playback . . .
