I purchased an RP-91 in Jan 02 and in Sept 02 the power supply switch had to be replaced. was at service shop for 3 weeks because took a week for panasonic to respond to request for new part and then ship it. It is a great system when working. Dont know if I got a dud, but definitely get the service contract. I never would have thought after 8 months the machine would have died.
